each 18" (46 cm.) Each with bisque socket head with slender facial shape, blue or brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig in original upswept chignon, plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with female shape, slender elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D made in Germany 162 8 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900, the model represented turn-of-the-century fashionable ladies. Value Points: a superb pair, in fine unplayed with condition, having original wigs, bodies, body finish, and with an elaborate original trousseau including nine gowns or suits, three bonnets, corsets, slippers, fan, and other clothing, in addition to the elaborate costumes they are wearing.
