Description
20" (54 cm.) Arranged upon an ebony wooden oval
platform is an elaborate gilded ormolu
arrangement that centers a tufted red velvet
cushion upon which is resting a small wax orange
blossom bouquet with lace edging. The gilt
arrangement include dove with wreath,multitude of
sunflowers and leaves,six rectangular mirrors,and
symbols of prosperity,double sheaths of
wheat,each with fine original gilded finish. The
entire arrangement is presented upon an oval
glass dome,and was the wedding presentation of a
French bride and groom,circa 1890,symbolizing
their union. Excellent condition.
