Description
5" (13 cm.) Each is created of pale green silk satin and decorated with beaded, lace and silk ribbons, the set comprising a bellows-shaped cushion with pink ribbon ties; pea pod of patterned cotton with five peas and a silk rosebud; all-bisque baby with painted hair and facial features, enclosed in a silk pincushion and resting on pincushion pillow; and an all-bisque doll with blonde mohair wig (tiny flake on left toes), in elaborate silk costume with pink ties, attached with little green pincushions and with original ink script label "Little Bo Peep"; the group preserved in original (worn) box. Excellent condition, unused. For the French market, circa 1900.
