24" (61 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset
eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,rose blushed eye shadow,widely arched
feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth,shaded and accented
lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,deposed poupee body of metal armature with
padded stockinette cover,bisque hands,bisque
lower legs and bare feet,antique style costume
included. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
7 (head) 7 F.G. (shoulder plate). Comments:
Gaultier,with rare body deposed by Pannier in
1872 and produced as "bebe artistique" by
Gesland,circa 1875. Value Points: superb large
size poupee with rare body,very fine quality of
bisque and modeling of face,hands and feet.
