Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,brown glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid fashion body with shapely torso,gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated finger. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (and artist checkmarks). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1880,the doll wears her original costume of the L'Auvergne region of France comprising woolen gown,silk tablier,paisley shawl,multi-layered patterned petticoats,wooden sabots,coiffe,and jewelry. Value Points: beautifully preserved poupee with lovely face,exceptional costume.
