bisque shoulder plate,large dark grey glass
enamel inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced
ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,French kid
gusset-jointed body,wooden arms with dowel
articulation at shoulders and elbows,swivel
wrists,extra pivot joint at upper arms,lovely
blue gown with watch and fob,matching
bonnet,undergarments including blue silk
corset,stockings,shoes. Condition: generally
excellent,three fingers broken at knuckles on
right hand,left wrist glued to lower arm. Marks:
4 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: circa
1875. Value Points: beautiful poupee with
dramatic eyes,rare body style with wooden arms
having four-part articulation.
