11" (28 cm) doll. 17"h. (43 cm) dome. Bisque
shoulderhead doll with short brown sculpted
hair,painted facial features,blue eyes with white
eye dots and black upper eyeliner,single stroke
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,blushed
cheeks,kid body with shapely torso,mitten hands.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0.
Comments: attributed to Gaultier,circa 1865.
Value Points: wearing a superb antique gown with
matching bonnet,boots,undergarments,the lady is
arranged upon a wooden platform alongside an
arbor of flowering trees that shade a woven
basket decorated with gesso flowers and contains
an all-bisque baby; alongside are two rare
Porcelain de Paris claw-foot vases with hand-
painted floral designs,and the arrangement is
preserved under a glass dome.
