8"h. (20 cm.) The metal framed table with spiral-twisted tripod base and center base support with acorn finial has original gilded finish, and is surmounted by a circular table top with original midnight blue velvet cover and fringe, edged with brass studs. The table is signed on underside "Maison Huret, Boulevard Haussman, Paris", circa 1860,all-original and wonderfully preserved. The Huret family establishment specialized in people-sized furniture of this style, and after Adelaide Huret began her doll business, they created a small number of doll-sized furniture for display with her unique doll; few examples still exist today.
