15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting expression, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nicely costumed in pink linen romper suit and cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 38. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model known as "Phillip", from the transitional art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: most endearing wistful expression enhanced by finest bisque and modeling, original body and body finish.
