15" (38 cm.) White porcelain shoulder head with oval-shaped face,elongated throat,grey sculpted hair in upswept fashion,painted eyes in downcast expression with modeled eyelids,aquiline nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth,shaped muslin body,porcelain lower limbs with beautifully shaped fingers,painted shoe details,taffeta gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: KPM,circa 1901,the model was issued by KPM to celebrate the Bavarian Association of Arts and crafts and is known as Nymphenberg Lady. Value Points: rare doll with exquisitely sculpted features,aristocratic face,original porcelain limbs.
