Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-tinted brows, closed mouth with extended center accent line, brown painted baby hair with sculpted curls, composition baby body with jointing at shoulders and hips, antique baby gown with cutwork detail. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish albeit hands scuffed. Marks: c. 1923 Grace S. Putnam Made in Germany 3360 45 (doll) Made in Germany K&W (body). Comments: Bye-Lo, designed by Grace Storey Putnam, and produced in Germany under commission by George Borgfeldt, circa 1923.
