22" (57 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted azure- blue eyes with decorative glaze,white eye dots,thick brown upper eyeliner,incised eyeliner,one stroke brows,accented nostrils of rounded nose,closed mouth with very full and richly painted lips in pouty expression,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition and wooden ball- jointed body,antique romper suit. Condition: generally excellent,some typical wig pulls at back of head under wig. Marks: K*R 114 57. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,"Hans" from their art character series,circa 1909,the doll was modeled after the grandson of Fritz Reinhardt. Value Points: especially fine quality of modeling,bisque and painting,original body and body finish,wonderful antique costume.
