17" (45 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling, pale blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair fleecy wig over cork pate, French all-wooden bebe body with full articulation, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: mystery maker, the body is identical to Bru's Bebe Modele as well as that appearing on Bebe Huret, circa 1880. Value Points: very beautiful facial model with superb decoration, original early wig, rare body style with original finish, fine antique dress and leather shoes with silk rosettes signed L.I.
