15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head,rounded facial
shape with tiny brown glass side-glancing
eyes,fringed upper lashes,sculpted comma-shaped
brows with decorative glaze,rounded upturned nose
with accent dots,closed mouth with beaming
smile,upturned lip corners,red mohair
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler
body with side-hip jointing,m antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent,eyes set,body not
original although appropriately sized toddler
body of the era. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 124.
Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1917,from
their art character series,the mischievous boy
represents "Moritz" from the classic German
children's book by Wilhelm Busch. Value points:
