9" (23 cm.) Solid dome bisque socket head with painted tuft of hair and modeled forelock at the forehead crown, painted sideburns above modeled over-sized ears, brown glass googly side-glancing eyes, three lashes above each eye, small comma- shaped brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with smiling expression, two beaded teeth, dimpled cheeks and chin, composition bent limb baby body, knit costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: mystery maker, circa 1915. Value Points: very rare googly character with unique sculpting of hair, ears, mouth, choice bisque and painting.
