Description
6"l. largest shoe. Including high-heeled shoe, sabot-styled shoe and egg-shaped basket, decorated with gilt or floral design, each having rose or magenta sateen candy sack opening with draw-strings, designed to hold candy treats. The presentation boxes were offered at prestige Parisian chocolate and candy shops, designed to hold candy, and later to save as decorations. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890.
