Description
21" (54 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed facial features, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, velvet body with jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Hygienic Toys, Chad Valley, England (cloth label/paper label). Comments: Chad Valley, circa 1935. Value Points: the glass-eyed soldier wears original costume with unusual Scottish plaid pants, faux-fur hat, regimental jacket, has original paper label.
