Description
4" (10 cm.) One piece bisque head, torso and legs of standing Kewpie, jointed bisque arms, side- glancing eyes, blue wings, topknot. Condition: generally excellent, crepe paper worn on jacket. Marks: (paper label on back torso). Comments: Kewpie, circa 1917, from a series of crepe paper costumed Kewpies issued that year. Value Points: Kewpie wears its original crepe paper Uncle Sam costume including top hat.
