Description
Each 12" (31 cm.) Each has paper mache socket head with painted baby bonnet and hair, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, on paper mache body modeled as though in taufling wear with modeled and painted details, jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: popularly sold as street bazaar dolls in the latter 19th century, and made by many budget-priced Parisian firms, the dolls were considered incidental and few examples exist today. Value Points: rare to find dolls in perfectly preserved condition.
