All brown velvet doll has pressed and painted facial features, brown glass eyes, painted long lashes, wide beaming smile with painted lips, accented nostrils, black mohair wig in upswept ponytail, jointing at shoulders and hips, elongated legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original cloth label on foot). Comments: Norah Wellings, England, circa 1935. Value Points: rare large size of the glass-eyed Island girl wearing original grass costume and beaded jewelry.
