Description
12" square. 14"h. An elaborate red velvet cushion with passamenterie gilt trim is resting upon a gilded ormulu platform with decorative gilt grapes, arrows and coronets. Arranged upon the cushion is the original bride's coronet and wedding decorations, preserved from the wedding ceremony. The entire arrangement is preserved under a hand-blown glass dome with wooden base. French, circa 1875.
