Description

19"h. (49 cm.) Presented upon an ebony wooden platform with faux-moss-covered ground is a bevy of pastel-colored porcelain flowers including daisies, rose petals, bluets, and full blossoming roses; a pair of bisque lovers are seated upon a swing that suspends from the floral branch and are romantically intertwined, with sculpted and painted costumes. The arrangement is preserved under a blown glass dome. The ebony base has an original paper label "Dubois Freres, Porcelaine/Cristal/Toulouse". French, circa 1880. An exquisite and beautifully preserved salon decoration with bisque figures.
