Description
With unshaved beard (poilus), sideburns and moustache, wearing a duplicate to the uniform on the preceding lot, except shoes are tan, and without ammunition belt, and carrying a bed roll, two scuffed duffle bags, tin cooking pot, canteen and cup, and wooden rifle. There is a metal banner on the base labeled "Verdun" indicating his presence at this battle, and he wears a medal on his chest.
