29" (74 cm.) Pressed felt swivel head with painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, brown upper lashes and eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, blue velvet sewn-on aviation uniform with blue felt collar, belt and pocket patches, white wool felt aviator jumpsuit with tan felt gloves and fur-edged boots, plush collar. Condition: generally excellent, slight surface dust. Marks: made in England by Norah Wellings. Comments: Norah Wellings, circa 1940. Value Points: in fine large size, the aviator has RAF emblem on pocket flat, carries multi-colored felt parachute with felt suspenders, tan felt fur-edged aviator cap with faux-leather ear patches and goggles.
