22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, defined white space between the accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty costume. Condition: generally excellent, some body retouch. Marks: 12. Comments: circa 1885, the doll was created to compete for the French market.
