17" (46 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, blue and brown eye shadow, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, brunette mohair wig, muslin body with felt arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Raynal, France, circa 1935. Value Points: in fine unplayed with condition, the doll wears detailed felt ski costume with tunic, pants, scarf, cap, gloved hands stitched to hold wooden ski poles, brown leather shoes, and wooden skis, and is preserved in her original box with remnants of Paris department store label from Aux Galeries Lafayette.
