20" (51 cm.) All composition with socket head, blue sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lashes, dark eye shadow, short-stroke brows, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig with braids, jointing at shoulders and hips, wearing original blue and white cotton plaid dress with ruffled white pinafore and red ribbons, white undergarments with blue edging, socks, black shoes, black woven hat with flower-trimmed banding. Condition: very good, some light crazing. Marks: Alexander (doll and costume). Comments: Alexander, circa 1938, portrait doll of celebrity film star Margaret O'Brien. Value Points: original costume, and with attached cloth autograph "To Peggy, Margaret O'Brien".
