14" (36 cm.) Felt doll with swivel head, pressed and painted facial features portraying the English monarch, painted hair, all cloth body. Condition: near mint. Marks: H.M. The King, Made in England, Farnell's Alpha Toys (cloth labels). Comments: portrait doll of King Edward VIII, circa 1930. Value Points: superbly preserved condition, the historic King wears intricately detailed and authentic coronation costume including ermine-edged purple velvet robes, crown, purple tunic, ball and scepter.
