Description

30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brush stroked brows with sculpting and comb-marked detail, accented nostrils of rounded nose, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, center accent dot on bottom lip, pierced ears, mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1279 Germany dep 14 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with very choice bisque, impressed cheek, chin and lip dimples, original body and body finish.
