11" (28 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, bald pate with curly grey hair around the sides and nape, very thick long curly beard and moustache, enamel eyes, furrowed brows, closed mouth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green boots with gilt edging, wearing very lavish green and ivory silk costume with jewels and gilt embroidery, turban. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
