28" (72 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark painted eyeliner, painted lashes, brush stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, dimpled chin, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K 1/2 made in Germany 14 1/2 143. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: unusually large size of this desirable model with wonderfully modeled plump cheeks, original body finish, antique blue chambray dress with handmade rick-rack, undergarments, black stockings, straw bonnet, leather shoes.
