15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted pale blue eyes with white eyedots, black upper eyeliner with tiny painted lashes, red upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, brunette mohair wig in side braids over original plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 182. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderfully defined sculpting of character expression, slightest hint of smile, on the painted eye girl, choice bisque, original body and body finish, original wig and pate.
