Bisque socket head, dark blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with accented lips, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully- jointed body, straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Le Parisien Paris A 7 (head) Bebe Le Parisien Medaille d'Or Paris (body) Au Nain Bleu E. Chauviere, Boul des Capucines 27 Paris (paper label on body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: very pretty shy-faced bebe has lovely bisque, original signed body, original costume with Au Nain Bleu label, original Au Nain Bleu label on torso.
