Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D made in Germany 8 (head) Excelsior (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1895. Value Points: especially fine modeling with details around the eyes, original wig, pate, body, body finish, lovely antique dress, undergarments, brown stockings, aqua kidskin ankle boots.
