23" (59 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, side- angled feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, two beaded upper teeth, wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 247 Paris 11. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: fine large size of the appealing urchin, choice bisque and painting, original toddler body with original finish.
