Description
18" x 13" lithograph, 26" x 21" framed. The pastel tinted lithograph portrays four young girls dancing in a pavilion, a violin is shown in the corner, and little children stand on the fence rail watching. Signed Poulbot in lower corner, and impressed with seal stamp and numbered 327/500. Excellent condition. By the noted French illustrator, Francisque Poulbot, most famous for his paintings and drawings of the children of Montmartre after WWI, and designer of the Poulbot character dolls of that era. The rare numbered lithograph is from the 1920 era.
