Description
28" cupboard,10" doll. Walnut cupboard with paneled doors and curved crest opens to reveal a well-fitted interior with shelves edged in crochet work and filled with bundles of table and bed linens, towels, napkins, each with original red ribbons, along with bisque-headed doll with blue glass eyes, open mouth, original French body, signed Dep, original chemise. Excellent condition. French, circa 1900, the presentation appeared in various Parisian Etrennes catalogs in the late 19th century, but is very rare to find in this original state of preservation.
