Description
8" (22 cm.) Bisque swivel head with plump facial modeling on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, two square upper and one square lower tooth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed arms and legs with modeled bent elbows, expressive fingers, plump musculature legs with tiny ankles, white stockings with blue rims, yellow ankle boots with black laces and spats, lace dress. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake at right arm stringing hole. Marks: 102 13. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare all-bisque with superb detail of modeling, very choice bisque.
