11" (28 cm.) White bisque socket head decorated with red clown star and spiral designs, diamond shapes at the eyes, brown glass inset eyes, brown curvy brows, open mouth with upturned lip corners, four tiny teeth, white and red mohair clown hair, composition body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E. 4 D. Comments: Denamur, circa 1895. Value Points: rare model with charming face, wonderful decorations, original wig and original silk clown costume with sequin and pom-pom trim.
