16" (42 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted hair and facial features, blonde bobbed hair with bangs, painted brown eyes with long black upper lashes, red and black upper eyeliner, white eye dots, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, sateen body cover on torso and upper limbs, one piece oil-painted arms and legs with jointing at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Martha Chase Dutch girl symbol). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1910. Value Points: all original Chase girl with unusual detail of hair, the bangs sculpted away from forehead and wonderfully blushed complexion.
