13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass enamel inset eyes with paperweight like effect, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, row of tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition shoulder plate, block torso with internal wooden bellows, muslin torso cover, wire upper arms and legs, composition lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: when the bellows torso is squeezed, the doll cries "mama", and waves her arms in the similar manner as the Steiner Gigoteur. Maker unknown, circa 1875. Value Points: rare German doll with gorgeous face and face, rare body, antique costume included.
