Bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.T./F. Comments: Cosman Freres, who registered their Splendide Bebe in 1893. Value Points: hard to find bebe with luminous complexion, deep paperweight eyes, wearing original costume and coiffe of Brittany, France with elaborate lace and embroidery detail.
