30" (76 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, deeply sculpted brown boyish hair with brush- stroked painting detail and decorative glaze, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, composition five-piece toddler body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany Simon and Halbig K*R 62 127. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1918. Value Points: outstanding example of the bright-eyed toddler, with exceptional sculpting detail, choice bisque, enhancing dewy patina of complexion, original body and body finish, wonderful antique winter costume.
