14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very slender face and elongated throat, sloping shoulders, black sculpted hair waved elegantly away from face, behind the sculpted ears, and captured at the back of head with gold bands, painted facial features, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower limbs, painted flat black shoes, antique (frail) silk gown. Condition: generally excellent, left finger tips chipped. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: regal presence achieved by shape of head and throat, elegant coiffure and pierced ears.
