19" (49 cm.) Bisque socket head, teal blue painted eyes with decorative glaze, thick black upper eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips in downcast pouty expression, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Gretchen" from their character series. Value Points: very deeply sculpted character definition enhanced by fine dewy patina of bisque, original wig, body, body finish, antique cotton dress, pinafore, undergarments, rose stockings, leather shoes.
