Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, jewel-blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque lower arms and hands, antique dress and undergarments, leather shoes signed A.T. Condition: generally excellent, few body patches. Marks: A. 4 T. Comments: Thuillier, circa 1882. Value Points: superb example of the rare bebe, an earlier model by Thuillier with very gentle features, delicate bisque, enhanced by brilliant eyes, original body with bisque hands. From the Seeley Family Doll Collection, the doll was named Tiffany by Mildred Seeley and the story of her coming to the Seeley collection is told in the Seeley autobiography "For the Love of Dolls and Roses."
