Porcelain shoulderhead with black sculpted hair in side-parted gentleman's style, with detail of feathered curls at forehead, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: especially fine modeling of hair, wearing original well-detailed gentleman's costume comprising black jacket with long tails, aqua brocade vest, blue silk tie, pocket watch, grey pants, blue kidskin shoes.
