Description
10" square. 5" dolls. Upon a wooden platform, covered with decorative papers, are arranged seven children as though playing the children's game ring-around-the-rosy; each with arms outstretched, six forming a circle around the child in the center. When handle is turned the circle of dolls turns one way, and the single doll turns another; the circle pauses, then each reverse their position, while music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Zinner and Sohne, circa 1890. Value Points: rare and delightful mechanical toy with perfectly preserved little bisque dolls, each with original mohair wig, and fanciful party costume.
