Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blond mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing, bisque lower arms and separately sculpted fingers. Condition: restoration to back of head, otherwise excellent. Marks: A 7 T. (head and shoulders). Comments: Thuillier, circa 1882, the earliest kid-body version of the rarely found doll. Value Points: very beautiful face with fine definition of features, deep paperweight eyes, choice painting, original body and perfect bisque hands, lovely costume including quilted coat with angora trim and angel wings.
