Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blond mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing, bisque lower arms and separately sculpted fingers. Condition: restoration to back of head, otherwise excellent. Marks: A 7 T. (head and shoulders). Comments: Thuillier, circa 1882, the earliest kid-body version of the rarely found doll. Value Points: very beautiful face with fine definition of features, deep paperweight eyes, choice painting, original body and perfect bisque hands, lovely costume including quilted coat with angora trim and angel wings. From the Seeley Family Doll Collection, the doll was famously known as "Snow Angel", featured in many of the books written by Mildred Seeley.
