Description
3 1/4" (8 cm) sugar. Sixteen pieces, each of white porcelain with relief beaded borders and shaded fern design in which are portrayed a group of playful Kewpies; the sugar bowl is especially rare featuring Kewpie Army on one side, and three different Helmet Kewpies with elaborate regalia on the other. Included are cake plate, bowl, one large cup and saucer, two small cups and saucers, lidded sugar bowl, and six plates. Each signed Rose O'Neill Kewpie Germany. Circa 1915.
